Jacksonville, OR – [July 14, 2025] – Pioneer Village, a leading provider of assisted living in Jacksonville, Oregon, was honored to host KOBI-TV NBC5 as we celebrated a truly remarkable milestone: the 103rd birthday of our beloved resident, Al Lightman.

Al Lightman, a decorated WWII veteran and American Hero, is a cherished member of our community, and his presence enriches us all.
During the celebration, Al shared some heartfelt reflections on his experience living at Pioneer Village. “It’s nice to know that I have developed a bunch of friends here in my new life,” he remarked. “It’s been a privilege.” His words resonate deeply with our commitment to fostering a supportive and engaging environment where residents can thrive and build meaningful connections.
